because our bedroom has weird outcroppings, i’ve never been able to fit side tables next to our bed. so whenever i see a cute side table, or a fun before & after like this one, i’m always a little bit jealous. one day we’ll live in a home with rooms that have four regular walls, but until then, i’ll keep admiring projects like this one from d*s reader mandy from sugar and candy at etsy. mandy decided to make over her simple bedside table by painting it and etching some glass to create a custom design. i so rarely turn to glass etching and think it was such a clever way to personalize this table and take a step beyond just repainting. want to see of mandy’s handywork? click here to check out her before & after set on flickr.
